My
grandmother Lliberta, she was born in Barcelona, in times of war, her family
were quite poor, so she dropped out school at the age of ten. After that
she works like a seamstress, the money that she won were necessary for make
ends meet. After years of working, she gained reputation and she
became more well payed.
When she
had free time, she liked go dancing Sardanes, her rol mode was one
friend called Manuel, they often went together to a dancing competition.
One time
she told me that she wanted to buy some jeans but her mother didn’t let she
because there were unusual seeing a woman wearing jeans, but she bought the
jeans like a form of rebellion.
Now she’s
very happy because she has more rights and she’s more free than before.
