Informal letter - Samuiel Giménez

Hi Joan
How's it going? I hope that everything goes well for you.
Sorry I haven't been in touch for such a long time but I've had exams so I've been studying every free minute because I need to get good grades.
Are you still playing handball? I still keep practicing in the same club, is so hard. I suppose you will also be studying the technological baccalaureate, like me.
I found out that you moved to la Sagrera, how are you doing in your new neighbourhood? Is it beautiful? I have heard that it is a quiet neighbourhood.
Anyway, I'd love to hear all your news and I'm hoping we can get together soon to catch up.
Samuel.

Informal letter - Kelun Chen

Hi Amelia,

How're things going? I'm really happy to hear from you because I was shocked when you left the bar that suddenly in our last meeting. I read the email you've sent me yesterday.

In my opinion, you may be impressed, but I'd rather to work as a dance trainer. That's what I think Amelia. Although you won't be able to see your brother in a year, I think that you should take the job because you'll need the money if you want to study at a good university.

Furthermore, I believe that you'll gather more experience during your work time and therefore, you might be able to manage easier your future jobs. Think about your future Amelia, your brother is only gone for a year and your future is more important, that's what I think.

Regards,

Kelun Chen

Hi Amelia,
It's good to hear you again. How are you? How have you and your family been? I hope you are good.

I have read your e-mail about this two options that you have. Personally, I think you shouldn't go with your brother to Australia. It's is very expensive and also complicated to comunicate with the people. Because of their stubbornness and seriousness. On the other hand you have the amazing experience to train children in summer with the sun. I don't going to say twice but I know you really want to be with your students doing what you love.

However, it's not my call and you have the option to do whatever you want, my opinion it's only a option for you.

bye,bye bf xD

Informal Letter - Ignasi Blanes

Dear Amelia,

It’s great to hear from you! Sorry for not answering you yesterday but I was busy doing my homework.

I read you are already planning your summer, that’s so exciting! Both options you have in mind sound great, but I think you should go to Australia to visit your brother. He’s only going to be there for one year, so you ought to take this opportunity. It may be the only time you’ll be able to go to such an amazing place! Also, I know you love training children how to dance, but you’ve been doing that for a lot of time, don’t you think it’s time to change and do something new?

By the way, if you finally take my advice and you go to Australia, you have to send me loads of pictures! I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time this summer with whatever you decide.

Looking forward to seeing you.
Regards,

Ignasi Blanes

I think you miss your brother because he has been working in australia for a year so in my opinion you ought to go on holydays there. Also, the other option, which is working as a dance teacher for kids, you can do it any summer you want, but visit your brother not. Personally I believe that if you don't go to visit your brother you will feel bad and also maybe miss him more.

Anyway, anything you decide please write me a message to explain me what you choose.

See you soon.

Hi Amelia,
In my opinion you should go to Australia to visit your brother and stay with him. Also you can take advantage of this travel to visit with him the coolest places around the place that he live. Additionally he may show to you the best-know animals in the country. Moreover you can spend the summer with your brother make up the year that you couldn’t.
Other thing is that you might working as a dance trainer job during the curs, because this way you can do an activity that you like after class.

Informal Letter - Oscar Gallardo

Dear Amelia,
How are you? It good to hear from you again. Sorry I have not written from you, but I've been very busy with homework.
I have seen that you need my help to decide what to do this summer. Personally, I believe you must think what things can bring you each thing. Going on vacation and seeing your brother can relax you from your studies and, obviously, you can see and talk with your brother. But on the other hand, working in the summer will be useful, you will get money and experience for the future. In my opinion, I think you should spend the summer as a coach, I thought it would be the best for you and I think it would be a good experience.
Never mind, think it over calmly and talk it over with your parents. And if you need more help, you can always call me, and we have not talked for a long time, we need to do.
Be in touch soon,
Oscar.

Informal letter - Marina Díaz

Hi Amelia,

Good to hear from you again. How have you and the family been? I hope you’re well.

I received your email telling me about the controversy you have. It’s a really difficult situation! Here’s my advice, but you don’t have to do what I tell you, it’s only my point of view. So, about the decision of working as a dance trainer for children or going to visit your brother, personally, I think you should visit your brother.

It’s clear to me that you ought to go on holidays to Australia to visit your brother because he is working there for a year, and I’m sure you miss him. Also, do the activity you love it’s more likely you can do it at another time, but visit your brother not. Furthermore, I have this opinion because one possible consequence of not going to visit him, might be that you will feel bad and miss it more.
Anyway, don’t forget to let me know your decision. Hope to hear from you soon.

Love,

Marina

Hi Amelia,

How have you been lately? Sorry for not answering to you, I’ve been very busy during the quarantine and I must do all the tasks.

How is your family? I hope they are well. Anyway, in your last letter you’ve told me that you didn't know what to do in the summer if going to Australia or work as you had wanted. If I were you I might go to Australia because it can be a unique opportunity for you to see a different part of the world that maybe in a few years you won’t be able to see. From my point of view that is the best thing you can do.

But now I must run, I have an online class which I have to attend. I hope that this advice has been useful to you and don’t forget to text me back.

Alex

Informal letter_Leo_Alòs_E

Hi Amelia, since you asked if a could give you a piece of advice on what to do this summer. First of all, to make a proper judgment I would need to know some extra details as your financial status, the length of the Australian trip, etc... But since in two days I will no longer be able to text you until September I will try to give you my best guess.
If you take the teacher plan you will have a nice time while you are earning money and when you are free you can meet up with your friends, family, party, go shopping, etc..
If you go to Australia you will surely have a good time, the place is incredible, but it cost a lot so you will be able to see your brother, meet up, have a drink, whatever you want but as said earlier, it is really expensive and you won't have that much time to visit things.
Well, that was my advice but it is all up to you and I know whatever you choose you will have fun.

Informal letter/ Email - Ferran Guardiola

Informal Email

Hi Amelia,

Well, you are in a delicate issue. We have been friends since we were 5 and I know you pretty well, so I think I know which is the main problem.

Personally, I believe that you are so passionate and responsible and that’s why you want to travel to visit your brother, but remember you don’t like to fly! And, on the other hand, you could work as a dance trainer, and you love it, and, in addition, they will pay you for your services.

You shall need to decide between your brother or your work, but as I always told you, you should be selfish and think about what you really want, not what the others wants from you.
But, if you ask for my opinion, I personally think you must work and don’t go to Australia. Just because you hate flying, your brother will come back in a year and you’ll feel so lonely in that place, but working here have more advantages: you will earn money, be distracted and enjoying and hanging out with your friends in your free time.

Anyway, you will be who have the last decision, but my advice is staying here and work, your brother will come back, but maybe this job is your last chance to work in a place you like.

I hope I see you soon,

Ferran

Informal letter / Emai - Albert Betorz

Hi Amelia
I'm glad to hear you again. I hope you are well. I have read that you will finish high school shortly but now you must make an important decision. You have time to think about it but you have to think well what you will do this summer, now I am writing to give you my opinion.
I know how important dance is to you and this summer you have a very good opportunity to work as a dance trainer, and I imagine it is the work of your dreams and that you may need the money from this work, but you have to think a lot about the other option, because I believe that family is the most important thing and this summer you can go visit your brother, who surely is very excited to see you.
All in all I think what you should do this summer is go visit your brother. Tell me what you are going to do.  See you.
Albert

Informal letter/email - Mario Cerezo Rodríguez

Dear Amelia,

It was great to hear from you again. How have the family been? I hope I hope you are well. I was so surprised that you will may go to Australia this summer to see your brother. I thought you were angry with each other but I’m glad to see that your relationship is improving.

It is clear that visiting your brother is a good idea but we must remember that the other option is to earn money in a way you like so you might feel you are on holiday too. In my opinion family is the first so I would recommend you going to Australia and visiting your brother, you have to remember that if you work as a dance trainer you will be still working so you can feel like you aren’t in summer.

So, if you want to consider my advice, visit your brother on summer and don’t forget to give him a hub from me. Now I must leave, I’m going to work.

Best wishes,

Mario

Hi Amelia,
How are things? I can’t believe how long it’s been since we last spoke! I thought you must be interested to know what I think about your holiday’s controversy.
I believe you should do what you want. In your two options, there is one in which you could work in something that you want, and there is one in which you can be relaxed all the summer visiting Australia and your brother too. I ask you: what is more interesting for you? You have to rate this.
In my opinion, it would be better if you were to visit your brother, because you don’t see him a year ago. Also, you must visit Australia, it is your favorite country! Dance for a group of kids is something that you can do at any other moment. With these arguments, you might make a decision.
So, don’t forget to answer me!
Must run, I must go and get on with my homework. Lots of love to you and your family!

Hi Amelia,
How’s it going? I’m happy to hear about you, it’s been a while since you texted me. I hope you are all good and safe.
What you are explaining to me is very controversial but I think I can help you. From my point of view, you should go to visit your brother because he is not going to be always working in Australia, and it can be a very exciting experience as well.  If I were you  I would definitely go to Australia, moreover since next year, you are going to be older, you will have more opportunities to work and this year you may want it to enjoy the summer.
I hope this answers can help you and think, and I know that you will decide the best option for you. Enjoy the summer despite the choices and have fun. I can’t wait until you text me back.

Informal Letter/ Email - Ismael Oulad-Sidi

Hey Amelia,

How are you ? It is great to hear from you. I couldn't answer you, because I was very busy, with the final exams and in this moment I am in quarentine because of the Covid-19 and I am so stressed.

In my opinion, I think you should travel to Australia and visit your brother, it's been a long time since you see him, he would be very happy, also you always wanted to visit Australia, because of the high variety of animals, it might be the best opportunity.

If finally you travel to Australia I am sure you will have a good time in Australia relaxing and knowing the island. But it is your choice. Choose the one you think is most convenient for you and make you feel happy.

Good luck Amelia!

Ismael

INFORMAL LETTER/EMAIL - NIL PUENTE LLAMAS

Dear Ninette,
I am glad to hear that you and your family and also your friends are well during these extraordinary circumstances caused by COVID-19 infection.

By the other side, I am so sad due to this week we are celebrating Sant Jordi´s day, did you remember about this day in Catalonia ? We used to buy a flower, a rose for the girls and a book for the boys and the girls too. This year due to the quarantine it would be not be possible and we postpone this beautiful day to the 23rd July.
Take care my friend and I hope to visit you during the summer in Frankfurt.

INFORMAL LETTER
Hi Amelia,
How are you? I guess you are god because what you are telling me are so much good notices.
That’s a very difficult question, because, from one hand you must visit your brother because it’s part of your family and I believe he can give you a little money, but that’s not the most important part of the trip, the important think its visit a member of your family and talk with him.
But from the other I think you should go to work, because nowadays get a work it’s not that easy as before but being honest , knowing how intelligent you are you will get another job, that job it could  be a good temporal job, where you can be winning some money.
Personally I think it’s a better option to keep in your city, working while you are winning money, your brother will return it’s only a year, and if he go to another country, with the money you reached you can visit him many times.
So, finally, what will you do? You will stay there, or you will fly to Australia?
Write me soon, I want to hear more of you.
Roger

INFORMAL LETTER /EMAIL - Mireia Viladot

Hi Amelia,
It’s great to hear from you. I hope you’re well. I’m very satisfied that you are going to finish high-school next June. How lucky you’re! I still have a year.

Personally, I think that you should spend the summer working as a dance trainer for children. It’s a big opportunity for you to celebrate that you have finished a phase of your life. And we know that is an activity that you have been waiting for a long time, don’t you?

Also, it is clear that this opportunity only appears once in a lifetime; not like seeing your brother, that you can do it whenever you want. In my opinion, you will have a better time doing the two things you love more at once: dance and teaching children.

Anyway, I must go and get on with my work! Don’t forget to let me know your decision. I need to know it. Take care!

Mireia

Informal Letter - David Díaz

Hi Amelia,

Thanks for your email. It’s great to hear from you again. I hope you’re enjoying the end of high-school.

I’m glad you asked for my advice about your two options to spend the summer. Well, as you know, I love traveling around the world and visiting new countries and different cultures, so I don’t recommend you to work during your holidays.

In my opinion you should go on holidays to Australia to visit your brother, because you must be very tired after the school year and you have to rest. And I think you ought to take a few months to relax. I’m sure he may show you a lot of australian culture to learn and enjoy with him.

And I believe that he’ll be very happy to see you again.

Looking forward to hearing your decision.

Best wishes,

David

Informal Letter - Pedro González Navarro

Hi Amelia,

When I received your email two days ago I started thinking which of the two ideas you should choose for spend the summer. Personally, I believe that the best option is going on holidays to Australia to visit your brother. Your brother will feel very grateful and you haven't seen him for a year so it could be a good time to spend time with him and do something you used to do with him. Moreover, it’s a good occasion to visit Australia!

Whatever you choose I wish you have a good time.

See you, Pedro.
