Does the violence shown on television affect violence in society, especially among teenagers? This topic is very commented by many people and has generated different opinions.
As I see it, if kids grow up watching violence in TV, they will imitate that violence. So, in my opinion, there is a parental responsibility to have some control over what kids see on television.
Furthermore, if kids see much violence on TV, they will become insensitive to the horror of violence. There are studies supporting these ideas and talking about more negative consequences that entails the exhibition of that violence.
All in all, in my opinion we have to look out what kids see to avoid the possible consequences of seeing excessively aggressiveness or violent behavior on TV.
