First of all, I
do not have any experience or memories of someone being harassed by its couple.
In the past, it might
have been because of all the machismo that was occurring on those days
but happening now it is quite strange in my opinion because of all the
awareness that people have on this subject. Besides I can think
why this can be
happening, the harassment reports years ago may be lower because in those times
it was "normal", even though we know it is the opposite. Apart from
that, I think there is also a nowadays problem that is causing this violence
peak, in my opinion, it may be
caused by music and trends nowadays teenagers have, most of the music most of
the teenagers listen is not quite respectful to women, and the things they do
when they go out on a Friday night neither. So I think this causes the males to
think they have the power and control and she needs to listen and obey. Drugs
and alcohol that youths tend to consume can also boost this kind of attitude.
In
conclusion, I think this couple violence is rooted in the trends
now teenagers have but is all my personal opinion.
